Day 3 of the Dhaatu Puppet Festival- 2010 will have the String Puppet Theatre 'Ashtavakra' by Dhaatu. This has over fifty beautifully hand-carved and costumed puppets featured. The story is from the MAhabharatha- about a child born physically handicapped, but nurtured to become on of the greated Sages of India who writes the Ashtavakra Geeta.
11am- 2pm : Work-shop on shadow puppet making by Smt. Seetalakshmi. Entry by registration for ages > 14
Gallery display is on till the end of the day.
